The Story
The popular Alexa 35 Universal Stabilizer Plate is now available in a longer version. This new version is twice as long as the original, measuring in at 12"(30cm)! This low-profile and lightweight dovetail plate slides directly into the Arri BUD-1 on the Arri Alexa 35. It allows the user to mount any dovetail plate to the camera cage, only adding 1/8" in height and 230 grams to the camera build. It is profiled to match the bottom of the BUD-1 and has 3/8"-16 threaded holes for mounting.
No need to purchase all of the different SAM Plates, this fills the need for the SAM-5, SAM-6, SAM-7, SAM-8, and SAM-9 Plates/
Machined out of 6061 aluminum and anodized black.
